Printed class lists are a valuable quick-reference tool and a lifesaver when access to jmc Office or jmc Teacher isn't possible. Use them for substitute teachers without jmc access, include photos for easy student identification, or store them in emergency bags for quick attendance at rally points. Even when the internet is down, jmc’s printed class lists—complete with grades and comments—ensure you’re prepared for any situation!

To quickly print class lists from jmc Office, head to Schedules > Course > Class List.

Step One: Select a term type from the drop-down list, then choose the corresponding radio button for the term you want to use in your class list.

Step Two: Select the appropriate radio button to indicate which courses to include in your class list:

  • By Sequential Course: a course range selected by entering course numbers in the "From" and "To" fields.

  • By Random Course: one or more courses selected from a list of "Available Courses."

  • By Teacher: a list of students registered to courses assigned to a selected teacher.

Step Three: Select a specific class period or all class periods from the "Period" drop-down list to define the period(s) included in your class list.

Step Four (optional): Place a checkmark in the appropriate checkboxes to include additional details on the class list.

  • Grade Verification: a record of any existing letter grades for each student on the class list

  • Include Student Photos: a photo of each student is included on the class list

  • Include Race and Ethnicity: a record of each student's race and ethnicity is included on the class list

Step Five: Select the appropriate radio button from the "Order By" box to sort the class list.

  • Course Name: sort the courses alphabetically by name

  • Course Number: sort the courses numerically in ascending order

  • Period and Course Name: sort the courses by the period they meet, then alphabetically by course name

  • Teacher, Period and Course Name: sort the courses by the instructor’s name, then by the period, and finally by course name

Step Six: Click the "Preview" button to view the students on the selected class list.

Step Seven: Click the "Print" button to print the class lists for reference or distribution or click the "Export" button to export the class lists to a CSV file.
