Scheduling students is a common challenge faced by administrators and front office professionals, as they may encounter instances where some students cannot be accommodated in the available schedule. One solution to this issue is to allocate study hall periods to such students, which not only provides flexibility to the overall schedule but also allows them to complete their work during this time. jmc's "Study Lists" report generates a list of students who are not scheduled for a particular period and automatically assigns them to a study hall. This feature can save time and effort for the staff while ensuring that all students are appropriately accommodated in the schedule.

To view your study hall lists, simply go to Schedules > Study > Study Lists.

Step One: Select a radio button for the appropriate term to create a study hall list for a specific term.

Step Two: Select a grade range in the "Grades" "From" and "To" drop-down lists to narrow the students in your study hall list.

Step Three: Select the period range in the "Periods" "From" and "To" drop-down lists to run study hall lists for specific periods.

Step Four: Click the "Preview" button to create a study hall list of students not assigned to a course for a specific period on a given day.

Step Five: Click the "Print" button to print a record of your study hall lists or click the "Export" button to export it to a CSV file.
