Creating lesson plans in jmc Teacher provides transparency to students and families and offers organization for teachers with a platform for entering lesson plans that can be viewed in jmc Student and jmc Family. Select a course from your list, enter your lesson plan into the text field, copy it to other courses and export your list of lesson plans to a spreadsheet. Lesson plans in jmc Teacher help students remain in the loop even if they miss a class!

To get started creating lesson plans in jmc Teacher head to Edit > Lesson Plans.

Step One: Select the course from the "Courses" box to begin creating or editing a lesson plans for that course.

Step Two: Click the "New" button to create a new lesson plan for the selected course or select a lesson plan and click the "Edit" button to edit an existing lesson plan.

Fun Fact: Upon clicking the "New" or "Edit" button, a pop-up will display a text box complete with formatting tools for crafting your lesson plan.

Step Three: Click the "Calendar" icon to select a date for the lesson plan.

Step Four: Enter text in the space provided to craft your lesson plan.

Helpful Tip: Add a little pizzazz to your lesson plan using the formatting tools. Customize the font, weight, size, add tables or insert a link by using the globe icon. The sky's the limit!

Step Five: Click the "OK" button to add your lesson plan to the "Lesson Plans" list or click the "Close" button to discard your changes.

Step Six (optional): Click the "Copy" button to copy your lesson plan to other courses.

Helpful Tip: No longer need a lesson plan? Simply select the lesson plan from the "Lesson Plans" list and click the "Delete" button to remove it.

Step Seven: Enter a date range in the "From Date" and "To Date" fields and click the "Preview" button to view a list of upcoming lesson plans for the selected range.

Step Eight: Click the "Print" button to save a PDF of your lesson plans or to print a hard copy or click the "Export" button to export your lesson plans to a CSV file.
