Run a missing scores report in jmc to identify students with incomplete assignments. Select a date, and jmc will list students missing one or more assignments in your courses on or before the chosen date. You can also include a personalized message and print the report for direct distribution to students.

Navigate to Reports > Missing Scores in jmc Teacher to run a report on which students are missing one or more scores.

Step One: Choose the "By Course" or "By Random" radio button to narrow the range of students in the missing scores report.

Step Two: Select a course from the "Courses" list or select a random student from the "Find" drop-down list to select the students in the "Missing Scores" report.

Helpful Tip: Place a checkmark in the "Select All" checkbox when running the missing scores report "By Course" to quickly include all courses in your query.

Step Three: Enter a date in the "Date" field or or simply click the calendar icon to define the last date included in your check for missing scores.

Step Four: Select the appropriate radio button to indicate the type of missing scores to include in the report.

  • All Missing Scores: include assignment score results that are either blank or include an "M" or "MI".

  • Only ("M", or "MI"): include only assignment scores that are labeled "M" for missing or "MI" for missing included.

Step Five: Select the appropriate radio button to indicate if the report will be listed with student numbers or student names.

  • Student Name: displays a list of scores by student names.

  • Student Number: displays a list of scores by student number to maintain confidentiality.

Step Six (optional): Place a checkmark in the "Print Extra Message" checkbox and enter a message in the space provided to include a message for all students on the "Missing Scores" report.

Step Seven (optional): Place a checkmark in the "Print One Student Per Page" checkbox to create a separate page for each student listing their missing scores.
