Editing a Minnesota MARSS status line

Student enrollment status information used for MARSS reporting can be edited on the MARSS tab of the "View Student Data" page.

Need to complete the enrollment process for new students or correct enrollment errors tied to MARSS reporting? In jmc Office, head to the MARSS tab on the "View Student Data" page to edit details such as the student's resident district or transportation indicator, to ensure accurate state reporting that secures the appropriate funding for your school.

To change a MARSS status line for a student, log in to jmc Office, navigate to the "View Student Data" page, and click the "MARSS" tab.

Step One: Enter a student's name in the "Find" field to begin editing MARSS status lines for the selected student.

Step Two: Click the “Edit” button to complete enrollment details for a new student or to make corrections to a student's enrollment status prior to the start of the school year.

Helpful Tip: For active students experiencing a change of enrollment status (for example, a change to a student's special education services) use the "Drop Student" and "Re-enter Student" processes to accurately close an enrollment record and start a new one.

Step Three: Enter or edit enrollment record information in the corresponding drop-down lists and fields to update the selected student's MARSS record.

Step Four: Click the “Update” button to update the student's MARSS record or click the “Cancel” button to discard your changes.
