It's finals time! Depending on the course, a final exam may be an important component of a student's overall score. jmc Teacher offers you the flexibility to include an exam grade in the course's overall grade calculation while keeping it as a separate item on student report cards so that students and families can see final exam grades at a glance. Teachers can easily enter exam grades, determine their weight in the overall grading term, and save or print them with just a few clicks!

To enter final exam grades, head to Edit > Course Grades in jmc Teacher.

Step One: Select a course from the "Courses" drop-down list to edit exam grades for an individual course.

Step Two: Click the "Exam" drop-down list to select an exam grade for each student.

Helpful Tip: Not seeing the "Exam" drop-down list? Head to File > Preferences and place a checkmark in the "Include exams in course menus" checkbox located in the "General" box.

Step Three: Click the "Weights" button to edit the weight of the final exam in the students' overall course grade.

Step Four: Click the "Save" button to record your exam grade changes.

Step Five: Click the "Print" button to print a copy of the course and exam grades for your records.
