When it comes to WISEdata roster reporting, it's important to have all your courses set up correctly in jmc Office. This means ensuring that the state reporting fields are properly configured for each course. If you've imported course data from the previous year, you may need to make some updates to reflect any changes or new additions to your course list. By taking these steps, you can help ensure that your WISEdata reports are accurate and up-to-date.

In jmc Office, go to Schedules > Course > Edit Course Data to begin updating state specific course information.

Step One: Click the "State Specific Section" tab to begin updating course section data that is included in WISEdata reporting.

Step Two: Click the "Edit" link next to a term to update the section details associated with the specified term.

Step Three: Select the appropriate state section details from the "Programs", "Classroom Type", "Medium of Instruction", and "Instruction Language" drop-down list to define the state specific course section as needed.

Step Four: Place a checkmark in the appropriate checkbox(es) to identify the course section as "Dist Ed", "Project Based" and/or "Virtual Online".

Step Five: Click the "Update" link to save state specific section details for the selected term or click the "Cancel" link to discard the changes.

Step Six: Click the "State Specific Course" tab to begin updating course information included in WISEdata reporting.

Step Seven: Select a state specific course from the "State Course Code" drop-down list to associate a state defined code with the selected jmc course.

Helpful Tip: Simply enter the first part of the course name or number in the "State Course Code" field to quickly find the course code you are looking for.

Fun Fact: No need to manually edit the "State Course Title", SCED Code and other course information! This data will automatically populate after selecting the "State Course Code".

Step Eight (optional): Enter the number of college credits the course is worth in the "College Course Credits" field if applicable.

Step Nine (optional): Select the appropriate program from the "Alternative Education Program" drop-down list if applicable.

Step Ten (optional): Place a checkmark in the "Academic Service Learning" checkbox if applicable.

Step Eleven (optional): Select the appropriate pathway(s) from the "CTE Career Pathway(s)" drop-down list if applicable.
