Wisconsin: WISEdata update course information

Keeping your course information up to date is crucial, especially when submitting it for state reporting!

The Update Course tool is used when you have made edits to a course and you wish to submit those changes immediately to Wisconsin DPI. Ed-Fi records updated during this process include:

  • Course Offerings

  • Sections

  • Student Section Associations

  • Staff Section Associations

  • Grades

Head to Wisconsin > WISEdata > Update Course in jmc Office.

Step One: Select the building from the "Building" drop-down list for which you'd like to update the course and dependent records.

Step Two: Specify the course you'd like to submit by entering the course name or number in the "Find" box and then clicking the "WISEdata Update Course" button.

Helpful Tip: A summary will appear upon completion of the series of data submissions and will include any errors related to that student’s data.

If you have errors, save the page as a PDF and contact jmc support.
