The CRDC collects a variety of information including student enrollment and educational programs and services, most of which is disaggregated by race/ethnicity, sex, limited English proficiency, and disability.
Step One: Go to Attendance > Staff > Teachers and make sure at least one staff member is listed as a CRDC Contact.
Helpful Tip: Normally, only one staff member would be all three CRDC contacts. However, your district can decide if multiple teachers have those privileges.
Step Two: Gather your answers to the following data fields:
AlternativeStatus (Descriptor)
UngradedDetail (Descriptor)
SchoolTechnology
FiberOpticConnection (Boolean)
AllClassroomsHaveWiFi (Boolean)
StudentsTakeHomeDevice (Boolean)
StudentsBringOwnDevice (Boolean)
WiFiDeviceCount (Integer)
Step Three: Email this data for ALL state reporting buildings to Eric Doyle, Head of Technical Support at jmc.
Helpful Tip: Each state reporting building could have different information, so make sure to send data for each state reporting building.
Step Four: Wait for the return email from Eric Doyle stating that your data has been entered.
Step Five: Go to Nebraska > ADVISER > Start Year and click the "CRDC" tab.
Step Six: Click "Update Schools (all buildings)" to submit your CRDC information to NDE.
Fun Fact: CRDC reporting only occurs on alternate years. Therefore, the CRDC tab is only available for school years in which data collection is scheduled to take place.
