The district calendar in jmc Office serves as the master calendar for your school district, including the first and last day of the school year, and it is essential to set these dates at the district level to establish your official calendar. Setting the first and last day of school in jmc Office is crucial for various functions, such as state reporting, and can be easily done by office professionals with district-level permissions in just a few clicks.

Select your school's district from the "Switch Building" drop-down list and head to Attendance > Calendar > Days to get started.

Step One: Select the first day of school and the last day of school from the "First Day of School" and "Last Day of School" drop-down lists.

Step Two: Click the "Save" button to update the first and last day of school settings.

Step Three: Double-click the gray bar on a specific date in the calendar view to toggle through "No school" day options.

Helpful Tip: Continue double-clicking the gray bar to cycle through the list until you've reached the appropriate option ("No School, "No School AM", "No School PM" or "Blank" indicating a regular school day) to efficiently make changes to your school days.
