Effortlessly report enrollment and student proficiency in Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses using jmc Office. With a few simple steps, generate the Perkins file with all the required data for reporting, and seamlessly upload it to the Minnesota Department of Education website for efficient and accurate reporting.

To create a Carl Perkins file for your school, go to Minnesota > Perkins > Carl Perkins File in jmc Office.

Step One: Select either the "All Students" or "Random Students" radio button to determine which students to include in your Perkins file.

Helpful Tip: By selecting the "Random Students" radio button when creating your Perkins file, you can save time and generate a file that includes only the students involved in Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses, rather than the entire school population.

Step Two (optional): Select the student(s) to include in your Perkins file by entering a name in the "Find" field or by selecting one or more names from your list of students.

Helpful Tip: If you need to remove a student from your selected list, simply click their name to deselect them.

Step Three: Click the "Create Perkins File" button to download the Perkins file to your computer.

Step Four: Upload your Perkins file to the Minnesota Department of Education website to fulfill your Perkins reporting requirements.
