STAR (STaff Automated Reporting) is a web-based system used by school districts to report employment and assignment information. To set up STAR licensed staff members in jmc, go to Minnesota > STAR > Licensed Staff.
If the staff member is one already employed in your district
Step One: Click the "Add New Staff" button to add a new STAR licensed staff member.
Step Two: Put a checkmark in the "JMC Teacher" checkbox to indicate that the STAR staff member you are about to add is already in your jmc database.
Step Three: Select the staff member by searching their last name in the "Find" field.
Step Four: In the demographic text fields, enter the necessary information about the staff member.
Step Five: Click the "Update" button to save the new information to that staff member's jmc profile.
If your district hired a new STAR licensed staff member
Step One: Click the "Add New Staff" button to add a new STAR licensed staff member.
Step Two: In the demographic text fields, enter the necessary information about the staff member.
Step Three: Click the "Update" button to save the new information to that staff member's jmc profile.
