If you've submitted student information to the WISEdata portal for a student who should not have been included, you can easily remove the data from the DPI's database using the "WISEdata Delete Student" page. By following a few simple steps, you can ensure that the student's information is removed from WISEdata, helping you correct any mistakes and prevent the reporting of inaccurate information to the state.

In jmc Office head to Wisconsin > WISEdata > Delete Student to remove a student from the WISEdata portal.

Step One: Select a student from the "WISEdata Delete Student" drop-down list to identify the student that needs to be removed from the WISEdata portal.

Fun Fact: Only students with the "State Report" checkbox checked on the "View Student Data" page can successfully be removed from WISEdata.

Step Two: Click the “WISEdata Delete Student” button to delete the student from the WISEdata portal.

Fun Fact: Deleting a student on the Wisconsin > WISEdata > Delete Student page removes the student's data submission from WISEdata while maintaining their student record in jmc. If the student should be excluded from future WISEdata submissions, remove the "State Report" checkmark on the General tab of the student's "View Student Data" page.
