Our first update of the new year brings enhancements to transcript entry, new discipline record notification, and a new report for teachers.

jmc updates improve the stability, performance, and security of your jmc software and they include updates for jmc Office, jmc Teacher, jmc Family and other apps that are part of the jmc software suite.

We recommend updating the software whenever a new version is available so you can make sure your software suite stays in tip-top shape.

jmc Office feature updates/additions

  • A new transfer course can be created directly on the Edit Student Transcripts page while entering a new student's transcript.
    โ€‹Fun Fact: No longer do you need to temporarily leave the page to enter the course on Edit Transcript Courses.

  • Administrator Options gives the option of selecting users to notify via email when a new discipline record is created.

  • When entering a new discipline record, the Incident Reporter may be selected quickly from a drop-down of teacher names.

  • The Course Data List - Course Number and Name Expanded report now lists any fees attached to the course.

  • Edit Activity Rosters added an "Is Eligible" column to track student eligibility for extracurriculars.

  • The Form Designer now gives the option of using a different building's form as a template for a new form.

  • Displaying student legal name is now an option for Report Cards.

  • On the View Student Data page, the ELL/LIEP tab now highlights if the student is designated as such.

  • In Iowa, the ISASP File Extract option moved to Grading > Test Scores.

  • A variety of Ed-Fi changes/updates for state reporting.

  • The Credit Check Detail report now honors credit override amounts correctly.

jmc Teacher feature updates/additions

  • The Convert Missing to Zero option now lets teachers select individual course sections.

  • New Innovation Alert: A new Assessment Scores Grid report was added to the competency-based grading area.

  • Syncing scores from Google Classroom on the Edit Scores page now gives more detailed feedback of what scores were synced.
