jmc's Competency-Based Grading (CBG) features allow teachers to assess students on what they know and how close each student is to being proficient in a topic. To more easily judge progress for a class, the Scores Grid report shows student performance in an easy-to-read grid view. All students and formative assessments for an assessment area in a course are displayed in the report.

To run a CBG Scores Grid report, log in to jmc Teacher and go to Competency-Based Grading > Reports > Assessment Scores Grid.

Step One: Select the class you'd like to include on the report using the "Courses" drop-down list.

Step Two: Select an assessment area for the report using the "Assessment Area" drop-down list.

Step Three: Enter the "From Date" and "To Date" in the appropriate fields to specify the date range for the report or simply click the calendar icons.

Helpful Tip: Only assignments on or between the dates entered in the fields will be included in the report.

Fun Fact: If your CBG assessments do not have dates assigned, they will not appear in the CBG Assessment Scores Grid report.

Step Four: Select the "Student Name" or "Student Number" radio button to include either the student name or number on the report.

Step Five: Click the "Preview" button to view the selected report with your selected parameters.

Fun Fact: View how a student is doing across all their formative assessments by looking at the "Mean", "Median", and "Mode".

Step Six: Click the "Export" button to export the report to a CSV file.
