We know many of our schools utilize family volunteers to facilitate entrance into school events to give administrators and staff a break. All jmc Office users and teachers are automatically granted access to the GATE portal, but jmc makes it easy for any contact in the database to be granted access as well. No need to worry if contacts could view confidential information by giving them jmc Office access. Allow jmc contacts to access the GATE portal utilizing their existing jmc Family username and password credentials for added ease!

Navigate to Attendance > Contacts > Edit Contacts in jmc Office to grant a contact access to GATE.

Step One: Select the contact to be identified as a volunteer by entering their name in the "Find" field.

Step Two: Place a checkmark in the "Event Gate Volunteer" checkbox to allow this contact to use their jmc Family portal credentials to log into the GATE portal and screen students for entrance eligibility.

Step Three: Click the "Save" button to enact your change.
