jmc's Course Data List is a powerful tool for managing your course catalog, streamlining scheduling, and quickly reviewing course details. It provides everything from a simple course list with names and numbers to a detailed view that includes term, period, and enrollment information. You can display all courses or only those with enrolled students, allowing you to tailor the list to your needs.

Reviewing courses

Regularly reviewing your course list helps identify unused courses, available course numbers, and duplicates. You can choose between a basic view (course names and numbers) or an expanded view with sections, terms, teachers, and more.

Course scheduling details

Your Course Data List is an essential tool for both building and reviewing schedules, providing essential details for effective course planning. Use the following options to access key scheduling information.

  • Course Schedule Info: a list of courses displaying course names and numbers along with term, period, enrollment, days, teacher, and additional details

  • Course Schedule Constraints: a list of course names and numbers that displays the possible terms and periods each course can be offered based on its established constraints

Course settings at a glance

The Course Data List provides a quick overview of grading schemes and teacher assignments, eliminating the need to open each course individually. Viewing all grading and teacher information at once helps pinpoint courses needing updates or revisions.

  • Course Grading Info: displays each course's weight or credits, grading scheme, grading scale, and whether it counts toward the Honor Roll or appears on report cards

  • Course Teacher Info: lists each course's terms, periods, and assigned teacher(s)

Exporting your Course Data Lists

jmc offers several ways to export the information found on your Course Data List. Depending on what you need to view, you can export your course data via the following options:

  • Print: a hard copy or PDF of the course data list you're currently previewing

  • Create Course Export: a list of your school's course names and numbers as well as course information like weight, term type, and state reporting details

  • Create Sections Export: a list of each course's sections including term, period, teacher, room, and state reporting details

  • Create Teacher Sections Export: a list of course sections along with their assigned teacher(s)
