jmc release updates improve the stability, performance, and security of your jmc software and include updates for jmc Office, jmc Family, jmc Teacher, jmc Student, and other apps that are part of the jmc software family.
We recommend updating whenever a new version is available so you always have the latest and greatest feature set.
jmc Office: New features and innovations
Calling all districts! The Teacher Conference Scheduler is now available to try out for a limited time. Gain a better understanding of the Teacher Conference Scheduler here!
The Iowa Import LIEP from Prior Year page now shows a preview of the differences between last year and this year before importing the changes, as well as the last time the import was run.
You can now make edits to a group of Flex Schedules events created at the same time to prevent having to edit each event individually.
When deleting courses from a student’s schedule, select multiple courses to delete at one time!
Contact previous addresses are now available to include on lists at Attendance > Student > Lists providing a complete address history.
When running the Balance Sheet report in the Lunch module, you now have the ability to list non-zero accounts for a specific grade level.
The Define Custom Fields page includes a clarification of what is meant by “year-specific” vs. “year-independent” when defining a custom field so no more wondering if you made the correct selection.
When merging discipline referrals, you now have the option to email a copy of the discipline referral to the student to keep them in the know.
The Grade Distribution report has the option to break down the data by gender for an even more detailed analysis.
The Fee Account Code is now displayed on the Fee Payments report, eliminating the need to go exploring for the code.
Contact phone messaging types have been added as options to Attendance > Student > Lists.
The student scope now allows you to view student test scores to get a more holistic view of a student's academic performance.
We added Seamless Summer Option verbiage to Lunch Eligibility Notification Letters to make it simple for schools to notify families of their district's choice to participate in the program.
jmc Office: Updates
A fix was made to allow ISASP Test Score Files to import successfully.
In Wisconsin the Import Health Immunizations page was updated to recognize COVID vaccinations in WIR.
The Message Status page was made available to non-Message Center districts for email-only needs.
The Nebraska Import Enrollment History from prior year option was enabled for the 21-22 school year.
Minor wording changes were made to the Seamless Summer Option verbiage on lunch Eligibility Notification Letters.
Minnesota STAR Assignment Codes were made importable from 20-21 into 21-22.
Iowa discipline records with a non-numeric Behavior Incident ID are now being reported to the state.
Fixed an issue preventing lists with Health Custom Fields to save the list settings on the Attendance > Student > Lists page.
When adding a new course to student transcripts, the course by default is now marked as a transfer credit.
On the Minnesota Update Status from Last EOY page the date and time of the last update is displayed.
On the Iowa Import Enrollment History page the date and time of the last import is displayed.
The Forms Signature report now displays a student’s kindergarten group instead of simply grade "0".
In the Flex Scheduler, the statuses "Locked" and "Student Sign Up" were expanded to "Teacher Locked", "Teacher Selected", and "Student Selected" for additional clarity.
jmc Teacher: New features
The Student Name and Number List now includes the student Tag to identify which tag group the student belongs to.
In the Flex Scheduler save your custom list of students as a student roster to avoid re-selecting them.
jmc Teacher: Updates
In jmc Teacher custom fields are now displayed in the jmc Office-defined sort order.
An issue was addressed when editing assessments for a class across multiple benchmark groups.
Fixed an issue to show a full list of discipline records for a student in jmc Teacher instead of just referrals.
Fixed an issue on Edit Scores preventing some CBG Formative Assessment Results from transferring to the page.

jmc Family: Updates
Transcript printing in jmc Family was enhanced to now match the jmc Office transcript layout. Woohoo!
An issue was fixed causing the conference date drop-down list to change dates when selecting a date for a second student.
Conference schedules are now easier to read and a pdf.
Families are now given the ability to submit a missing student middle name, but not edit an existing one.
jmc Student: Updates
Fixed an issue in the Flex Scheduler where students could sign up for a private offering not intended for them.
Transcript printing in jmc Student was enhanced to match the jmc Office transcript layout.
