jmc release updates improve the stability, performance, and security of your jmc software and include updates for jmc Office, jmc Family, jmc Teacher, jmc Student, and other apps that are part of the jmc software family.
We recommend updating whenever a new version is available so you always have the latest and greatest feature set.
jmc Office: New features and innovations
The 22-23 school year is now available on the login page. To get going on the next school year let's get your jmc database ready for the year. Get started by visiting this article: Getting ready for the 22-23 school year.
The Section 504 option was removed from the Disability drop-down list on the Minnesota Special Ed History tab of View Student Data to be in synch with state reporting requirements.
There's a new "Save" button and descriptive text added to the Optional Message on the Print Student Transcripts page to help explain how the message will print.
When accidentally adding the same primary contact to a student twice, you will now receive an alert preventing you from creating the duplicate.
Minnesota MCCC Course Codes have been updated to the state's latest definitions for both the 19-20 and 20-21 reporting periods.
Minnesota Perkins Course Codes have been updated to the state's latest definitions for the 21-22 reporting period.
jmc Office: Updates
A fix was made on the Edit Course Data page when changing course weights to prevent an error message about duplicate course numbers.
A minor wording correction was made on the Minnesota Ed-Fi Update Students by Grade Level page which incorrectly warned about the last day of school being not set.
Fixed an issue with course numbers in the Nebraska Update Attendance page to prevent an error regarding missing ‘section’ resources.
jmc Admin Connect and jmc Coach Advisor apps
The jmc Admin Connect app and jmc Coach Advisor app have now been updated to the latest iPhone and Android versions and now ask for a Pin Code instead of a URL the first time they are used to make setup easier.
Helpful Tip: Your school's Pin Code can be found in jmc Office under jmc Family > Family App Settings, underneath Mobile Pin in the upper left corner of the page when logged into the district. This is the same Pin Code your families currently use for the jmc Family app, so it is now used for all jmc mobile apps.
