Ensure equitable access to technology for your students by easily entering digital equity information through jmc Family during online registration. By completing the digital equity survey, you inform the state about your students' technology access, allowing targeted initiatives to improve access where needed. Simply click the "Digital Equity Questionnaire" link, answer the questions, and submit your responses to your school.
To enter digital equity information online, log in to the jmc Family portal and navigate to "Register for 2023-2024”.
Step One: Click the “Digital Equity Questionnaire” link to access digital equity questions for each of the students in your family.
Fun Fact: Digital equity information is submitted on a student by student basis as access can vary among students in a family.
Step Two: Select the appropriate responses from the drop-down lists to provide information about your student's access to technology while at your residence.
Fun Fact: If a student has more than one primary contact, each primary contact will complete a digital equity questionnaire to provide information about student access at the residence of the primary contact.
Step Three: Click the “Next” button to submit this student’s digital equity information.
Fun Fact: If you have more than one student in school, you will automatically be given the digital equity questionnaire for your next student.
Step Four: Repeat steps one through three until you receive the message "You have submitted data for all Digital Equity questions. Thank you." to complete the process.
Helpful Tip: If you have purchased a new computer or if your community has a new internet service provider, you can easily update your student's digital equity information by clicking the "Digital Equity Questionnaire" link in jmc Family.
