In jmc Office, go to Minnesota > Ed-Fi > Start Year to confirm that you have completed the necessary tasks to prepare your data for Ed-Fi submission.
Step One: Click the "Prep" tab to access the checklist of items that are to be completed before the start of the school year.
Step Two: Place a checkmark in the appropriate checkboxes to indicate that you have completed the listed item.
Step Three: Click the "Tables" tab to access the list of tables that require updating from MDE at the start of the school year.
Step Four: Click the first enabled button on the "Tables" tab to update your jmc database from the corresponding MDE code table for the start of the school year.
Step Five: Click the "General" tab to access a list of MDE data submission elements related to your general school data.
Step Six: Click the first enabled button on the "General" tab to begin uploading school data to the MDE.
