jmc release updates improve the stability, performance, and security of your jmc software and include updates for jmc Office, jmc Family, and jmc Teacher. We recommend updating whenever a new version is available so you always have the latest and greatest feature set.
jmc Office: New features and innovations
An update was made so charges are listed first before the payment on the Tuition/Fees page, easily organizing the fees.
When attempting to print a transcript for a student without a Primary contact, an update was made to the alert message giving a better explanation of the error and how to correct it.
jmc administrators can now enable Two Factor Authentication in jmc Office at File > Application Security.
When sending emails using the Message Center and selecting random students, the student's name will now be included in the subject line of the email message to avoid confusion as to which kiddo the email refers to.
When sending messages from the Message Center, you now have the choice of "Email and Text" for times you want to email and text a message but don’t need a phone call placed.
Two new test score categories were added to the Grading > Test Scores > Test Score Selections page for schools to use: "Fountas & Pinnell Reading Assessment” and “Avant - Spanish Heritage Language”.
On the Edit Family/Org Fee Data page, the charged student's name will now be listed to distinguish between similar fees charged to siblings.
A grade level range was added to Period Attendance > Reports > For a Day allowing the report to be filtered down to specific grade levels.
Multiple options including "By course name", "Number, period", and "Teacher" were added for sorting the Schedules > Course > Class List report.
When changing fee prices, Office users can now apply a price change retroactively per fee instead of applying the price change to all fees at once.
Comments entered on a student’s transcript will now print on the Credit Check Detail for a Student report, providing a fuller picture of a student’s course history for administrators.
jmc Family > Online Registration > Progress Dashboard now shows a family's progress throughout the registration process, including if their registration is finished, forms are signed, and any lunch or fee balance.
Office users can now add additional descriptions to custom fields and health custom fields at File > Define Custom Fields and Health > Health Custom Fields > Define Health Fields, giving families a better understanding of what the custom field is asking or requiring.
A new "Space From Top of Label to Next Label Top” field was added when printing summary labels to allow for finer control of spacing, providing a better match to a variety of manufacturer labels.
Tuition/Fees family accounts now display all related student charges in one place at Tuition/Fees > Data > Edit Family/Org Fee Data to avoid having to go to different pages for different kiddos.
Statements can now be printed for an individual family account on the Tuition/Fees > Reports > Print Statements page.
The official 21-22 Iowa Biliteracy Seal image was added for schools to include when printing transcripts.
The "Fixed Period Indicator" has moved from the MCCC Staff File page to the Edit Course Data page allowing different values per course section instead of one value per building.
Minnesota schools will now see MN MCCC state course code ‘08007’ in the list of valid course codes to complete your MCCC reporting.
A "Crisis" tab is now on the MN Edit Student Data page to identify displaced students for state reporting requirements.
The Nebraska ADVISER "Transcripts" and "CRDC" tabs were removed as they are no longer needed by the NDE.
jmc Office: Updates
An error that was occurring on the Nebraska ADVISER Update Students By Grade Level page regarding reporting discipline records was corrected.
Resolved an issue when uploading an individual student photo.
The order of the “Sign Forms” and “Registration Complete” reminders on the jmc Family registration page were reversed to remind families to take care of signing forms before marking their registration as complete.
Resolved an issue where the "By Grade" and "By Activity" options on the Edit Period Attendance page were not consistently selecting the students correctly.
A course number display issue on the Edit Student Transcripts was corrected to display the current course number.
An update was made to the Print Progress Reports page where the student names list was being displayed over the calendar widget.
Fixed an issue with Import Course Data where state course codes were not imported from the prior year if the current year code was a zero.
Resolved a display issue on the Edit Family/Org Fee Data page when users refunded two payments of identical amounts.
16 additional MCCC State Course Codes were made available on the Edit Course Data page as requested by MN MDE.
Minnesota MCCC Course Index File where the "EEProgram Code" and "Standard Code" have been updated to correct a reporting issue.
jmc Teacher: New features and innovations
The maximum length has been increased to 4000 characters for comments associated with standard and benchmark results allowing teachers to add more in-depth comments.

Resolved an issue when a teacher attempted to download a Special Ed attachment for a student.
jmc Family: Updates
Resolved an issue on the jmc Family Registration dashboard where the number of forms still needing a signature was listed incorrectly.
