jmc release updates improve the stability, performance, and security of your jmc software and include updates for jmc Office, jmc Family, and jmc Teacher. We recommend updating whenever a new version is available so you always have the latest and greatest feature set.

jmc Office: New features and innovations

  • An "Include Student Grade" checkbox was added to the Grading > Transcripts > Print Transcripts page allowing schools more flexibility on what to include in student transcripts.

  • The "Lunch Count/Attendance by Teacher" report in the Period Attendance module can now be exported to a CSV for easier collection of data.

  • When printing report cards, users can select if they want to send mid-term or final grades when emailing report cards to families.

  • Attendance form letters can be emailed to families making it easier for office pros to alert families of various attendance alerts.

  • Users can now customize the sort order when running a Student List by using the up and down arrows in the "Selected" column.

  • Wisconsin schools can now run an "Enrollment History" list on the Attendance > Students > Lists page to view a customized list of student enrollment information.

  • Nebraska schools can now specify what Title 1 Service a student receives on the "Program History" tab on the View Student Data page.

  • Minnesota schools can now add a variety of Bilingual seals to student transcripts.

  • Minnesota schools will be unable to update MARSS or history record data if school calendar dates are not set, allowing for more accurate data submissions.

jmc Office: Updates

  • All previously created forms will be available for users to edit with the Form Designer.

  • Families will now be listed in the correct Teacher Conference Scheduler report informing office folks of the families that did and did not attend.

  • When importing ACT test scores, the score and date of the test will appear on the report.

  • Lunch pros can view families' Direct Certification Notification Letters for the selected date range in the Lunch module.

  • When running "Low Balance Notices," the report will show the most updated information for the families who did and did not receive a notice.

  • No school days will not be included in a "Claims Edit Check" ensuring accurate average daily attendance percentages.

  • When running a "Test Scores" list on the Attendance > Student > Lists page, all test scores will appear on the report.

  • Health Custom Fields can be run on the attendance > Student > Lists page to view Online Registration information throughout the year.

  • When teachers send grades to the office, their comments will be pulled with grades for the office to view.

  • 2022-2023 updates were made to Minnesota Early Ed and Nebraska Ed-Fi state reporting needs.

  • 2022-2023 enrollment history updates were made for Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa setup to prepare for the next state reporting period.

jmc Teacher: Updates

  • Teacher names can now include apostrophes.

  • Standards-based grades will now print on one page reducing paper usage.

jmc Family: New features and innovations

  • Families can now view their student's missing assignments all in one place on the Academics > Missing Scores page.

  • Hard surface bus routes will now be displayed to ensure families have the current pickup location and times.

jmc Family: Updates

  • When signing up for teacher conferences, families will now be able to view teachers from a previous term.
