Already thinking about registering families for the next school year? We have solutions ready for three common online registration issues school may face.

1. An Online Registration review is needed

Time flies by fast. It's been a year since you last worked with Online Registration and you don't quite remember how to navigate it. Plus, you're not sure what new features (Signable forms, downloadable forms, and custom health fields) are available. We have resources ready to refresh your memory or teach you what you need to know about new features. You can find it all on our Youtube channel!

2. The Online Registration process isn’t streamlined between departments

Each office has their own unique needs when it comes to collecting registration information and sometimes they are not on the same page. The nurse needs medication permission slips. The front office needs up-to-date contact information. The food service team needs that meals benefits application turned in asap. Each are trying to get the information their own way, which is confusing to families. Invest time in collaborating with your team to create an Online Registration plan. By spending time early ensuring all department needs are represented before opening registration you’ll ensure less stress and more complete information is collected from families.

3. The Online Registration hasn’t been tested

You may be wondering if you have all of the right pieces in place for families to successfully complete Online Registration. Maybe you are crossing your fingers that you will get all of the necessary information (and documents) your district needs to collect. No need to wait and see: just do a trial run first! Select a few families ahead of time and have them do a practice run at registration. Ask them to take notes on what is confusing or incomplete—like those pesky links that aren’t live yet—so you’ll know exactly what to fix before opening registration to all families.
