After sending a message through the Community Messenger, easily review key details about messages in progress, completed messages, and scheduled messages to stay updated on their status. Use the Message Log's intuitive features to quickly resend duplicates and manage scheduled messages effortlessly, streamlining school communication with the entire school community.
To review the progress of messages with the Message Log, head to Messages > Message Log in jmc's Community Messenger.
Step One: Click the "Filter" icon, select a radio button for All, Completed, Scheduled, In Progress, or Stopped, and click the "Apply" button to view messages with the selected status. To clear the filter, click the "Cancel" button.
Helpful Tip: For further message filtering, utilize any of these tools:
Click the "Message type" disclosure triangle to filter by message type (for example: text or email)
Click the "Date range" disclosure triangle to filter by a specific date range
Enter a part of a message title in the "Search" field to filter by message title
Click the "<" or" >" arrows at the top of the page to reveal additional messages based on the selected filter or enter a number in the page number field to skip to a specific page.
Step Two: Click the disclosure triangle next to a message to reveal important details, including the message title, date created, message creator, scheduled start, sent, and completed date and time.
Step Three: Hover over the "Overflow menu" icon (three dots) to the right of a message, then click "View Message" to review its content or "Clone" to copy and reuse the message's content.
Fun Fact: Clicking "Clone" will redirect you to the "Send Message" page, where you can review, edit, or resend the duplicate message.
Step Four: Hover over a scheduled message, click the "Overflow menu" icon (three dots) to the right, and select "Delete" to remove the scheduled message.
