The latest release adds Minnesota Direct Admissions, Wisconsin enrolllment history importing, and numerous jmc Office and Teacher updates!

jmc release updates improve the stability, performance, and security of your jmc software and include updates for jmc Office, jmc Family, and jmc Teacher. We recommend updating whenever a new version is available so you always have the latest and greatest feature set.

jmc Office: New features and innovations

  • Guidance counselors and administrators can view students' academic tiers and college preferences for direct admission to Minnesota colleges, with the option to share this data directly with the Minnesota Office of Higher Education on the "View Student Data" page.

  • Wisconsin Private Choice schools can now import enrollment history data from the prior year to mark their Private Choice students for the current year using a jmc-configured integration.

jmc Office: Updates

  • On the “View Student Data” page a student may no longer be allowed to have the same primary contact assigned more than once.

  • Users with incomplete Ed-Fi Settings will receive a helpful message telling them how to fix their settings by going to the File > Administrator Options in the "Ed-Fi Settings" link.

  • The Early Education Program Types for a course were updated for Minnesota clients in Schedules > Course > Edit Course Data in the "MCCC" tab.

  • For Nebraska clients, the automatic assignment of a discipline incident number on Discipline > Data > Edit Student Discipline Data has been updated and may now be removed if assigned in error.

  • Attendance calculations, as viewed on the "View Student Data" page in the "Enrollment" tab and submitted to WISEdata using various options such as Wisconsin > WISEdata > Update Students by Grade Level and Wisconsin > WISEdata > Update Student, have been updated with regard to the last day of school for the student’s grade level.

  • Grade acceptance on the Grading > Entry > Grade Acceptance page no longer gives an error when grades are accepted for all students.

  • Minnesota > MCCC > MCC Student file has been updated to include the student’s legal name when provided.

jmc Teacher: Updates

  • Manually setting a grade of “P” as a student’s assignment score on the “Assignment Scores” page no longer gives an error.

jmc Students: New features and innovations

  • Students will now be able to view their academic tier as well as select Minnesota colleges for direct admissions on the “Direct Admissions” page.
