New families in the district is great news! It means new students, growth, and opportunity, and jmc's New Family Enrollment portal allows those families to quickly submit enrollment information for new students from the comfort of their home. Once they submit their data, submissions are easily reviewed in jmc Office where new contact and student records can be created with the click of a button!

The New Family Enrollment portal consists of three features to ease the transition of new students into your district by keeping the process online.

New Family Enrollment Portal

The New Family Enrollment portal has dedicated fields for enrollment information that can be seamlessly imported into jmc Office. Families can provide parent/guardian information, emergency contacts, and student demographics including the previous school, enabling the retrieval of necessary records.

  • Language Translation: select your preferred language for completing the New Family Enrollment form

  • Parent/Guardian information: name, address, email addresses, phone numbers, and more

  • Additional Contacts information: names of other adult contacts and their relationship to the student

  • Student information: name, grade, birth date, gender, cell phone, home language, IEP/504 status, bussing needs, and previous school information

  • Additional Comments: additional details about a child that would be beneficial for the school to know.

  • Review and Submit: double check the information provided on the New Family Enrollment form prior to submitting it.

  • Progress Bar: monitor your progress throughout the New Family Enrollment process

Family Enrollment Forms

As soon as a family submits their enrollment form, the office staff are alerted of the submission and can review the enrollment forms, initiating the enrollment process for the student.

  • Note From Parent: view any additional comments left by the parents while completing the enrollment process

  • Proposed New Contacts: review new family enrollment submissions and choose to reject or accept the new family contact information, creating new contact records populated with the submitted information

  • Proposed New Children: review the submitted new child information and decide if you'd like to import this information into new student records

Family Enrollment Settings

Customize the look and feel of the new family enrollment process for your school with family enrollment settings in jmc Office. Add customized messages sent to families upon application submission, acceptance or rejection and turn on/off application submissions on the Family Enrollment Settings page in jmc Office.

  • Application Access: turn on the new family enrollment feature for your whole school district

  • Welcome Page: custom message and logo introducing your school to potential new families

  • Application Submission Message: customize the message families will automatically receive from your school district after they submit application information.

  • Accepted Application Message: sent to a family if you accept their submitted online family enrollment application information

  • Rejected Application Message: sent in the case you don't accept a submitted application
