jmc release updates boost the stability, performance, and security of your jmc toolkit. Let’s take a look at what’s been released to you:
✅ To help Iowa schools stay compliant with the recently enacted Senate File 2435, which requires specific school actions based on a student’s rate of non-exempt absences, we have added a Truancy Exempt column to Period Attendance > Data > Edit Reason and Cutoffs. Exempting a truancy will affect the Period Attendance report, helping you identify and support students with chronic absenteeism.
Speaking of regulations, press play on ‘2024 What’s New in IA State Reporting’ to get the download on the latest data submission guidelines.
✅ Nebraska schools, it’s official; we’re Ed-Fi certified for 2024-2025! You can now start preparing your data for fall submissions, which includes adding, dropping, or re-entering students into the school system to ensure proper student tallies and funds.
If you need help navigating enrollment scenarios, watch this jmc training video.
✅ Nebraska, when you’ve finished preparing your Ed-Fi data, you can start submitting to the Nebraska Department of Education (NDE) via the ADVISER portal, as all Ed-Fi links are live.
Want to get up to speed on the latest Ed-Fi guidelines? Then catch the playback for What's New in NE State Reporting for 2024/Work Session.
✅ Good news for Minnesota schools: All Ed-Fi links are now live, so you can begin submitting your data for 2024-2025 to the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) — and secure state funding for your district.
If you haven’t prepped your data for error-free submissions, watch our 2024 State Reporting Roundup for the step-by-step.
