onWater Fish has over 100 species layers which you can use to understand ranges and presence. This data is sourced from the scientific community (rather than users' catch logs) and consolidated by the onWater team to help you plan trips and catch new species far from home or in your backyard.
To use the Fish Species Layer, head to the map tab and tap to open the Fish Species Layers Menu:
After you select a species, you'll see shaded areas on the map which indicate presence in that area. The darker the shaded area, the more likely you are to encounter individuals of that species in the right habitat within that area:
You can select multiple species as well:
