DEVICES

Now that you have created your Device Profiles ( see Article: DEVICE PROFILES )

It's time to assign them to your DEVICES !

  • DEVICES: the name given to your POS / Tablet. It is Unique to every POS / Tablet. This is where you set your Printing Preferences.

  • DEVICE PROFILES: the Workflow & Display Options that you want to give to each Device. They can be unique to each Device or reused across several Devices.

For example, If you have:

  • 1 x POS: Easy, you can just create 1 Device Profile & assign it to your Device.

  • Several POS: You can reuse your Device Profiles or assign different ones according to your needs.

  1. Select an Existing Device => Choose you preferred Device Profile => SAVE

ASSIGN DEVICE TO POS / TABLET :

⚠️ Do this step directly from the POS / TABLET itself, not from a computer.

  • If your DEVICE is already selected / paired, it will appear with a blue background:

  • If not, all devices will have a white background:

  • Going to POS: this pop-up window might appear if your device wasn't linked :

⚠️ Because every DEVICE is UNIQUELY PAIRED to a certain POS or TABLET, you need to be careful when selecting: if you select the wrong one, your POS might print to the wrong printer or be linked to another terminal.

⚠️ NEVER USE ' Oolio Support ' as it will not be linked to any of your Printers / Terminals & is only used by our team for testing / troubleshooting purpose.

  • How to know which DEVICE is paired from the POS => Click on the ' . . . ' on the right end side of the screen:

    • On the bottom you can see the name of the DEVICE:
