Creating a Contact Segment

Contact Segments are a great way to filter your Contact Tables even further, giving you views of your contacts based on the information you need. For example, you may have a Contact Table for your Agent contact groups. You could then create a Contact Segment to only show Agents that have the Buyers Agent contact role.

Create a New Contact Segment

To create a Contact Segment, you will need to ensure you are on the correct Contact Table. You can click on the green button to select the Contact Table you need.

Once you have that, click on Segments and then select Create New Segment.

Give the Segment a name and click on Submit to create it. Make sure you name it something that relates to what the Segment is so it's easy to find later.

Now that you have the new Segment, it's time to apply additional filters to narrow down your contacts even further. You can also use the Table Columns option to add or remove any column on the right side. Once you have added the filters or columns, your Segment is ready.

If you want to go back to just the Contact Table, you can click on the Segment button again (it will show the name of the Segment you are on) and click on the X next to the Segment name. This will remove it and take you back to the Contact Table.
