We enter a lot of Checklists at OpsAnalitica. Over the years we have found that the most effective way to enter a checklist is to:

  1. Create a load spreadsheet that contains all the information for the checklist.

  2. Use split screens so you can cut and paste from your load spreadsheet into the platform.

  3. Use the Copy and Paste function in the platform to copy configured questions down as you are entering questions.

Essentially loading a checklist in the OpsAnalitica Platform is a giant exercise in cutting and pasting.

Split Screen:

  • On the left hand side, we have our excel spreadsheet, that has the checklist we are copying into the platform.

    • We use spreadsheets

      • They are quick to set-up

      • They are easy to cut and paste within

      • They are quicker to cut and paste from

  • On the right hand side we have our checklist builder open and we are cutting and pasting from the spreadsheet into the builder.

    • For every type of question, always make sure the first question is perfectly configured for what you are trying to do.

    • Take an extra 30 seconds and double-check you have the right rules, tags, labels etc.

    • You will be copying and pasting this question throughout the checklist, it is incredibly fast.

    • If you miss something important then you will have to go to every question and add it, that is very frustrating.

  1. Create the question in the Platform, make sure it is configured correctly.

  2. Copy the question text from the spreadsheet.

  3. Paste the question text into the question on the Platform.

  4. Copy the question on the Platform.

    1. The standard paste will put the new question at the bottom of the current category.

  5. Then go back to the spreadsheet and copy the next question text.

  6. Repeat
