Notifications are messages that are auto-generated by the platform, based on your User Accounts configuration. These notifications are meant to inform you in real-time what is happening in the platform so that as a manager you are able to follow up with your teams in a timely manner to change behavior that day.

All notifications are sent to the end users' Messages Inbox, where they will be held for 30 days. We find that most people aren't used to checking another inbox besides their work email inbox. So we recommend to most end users that they enable email notifications as well, or push notifications on their work devices so that they don't miss important operations events that they could influence.

There are different types of Notifications:

Notifications

  • Real-time messages from the system.

  • Based on your User Account configuration.

  • Sent to your Messages Inbox.

  • Held in that inbox for 30 days and then auto-deleted.

Email Notifications

  • By checking this box all notifications will be sent to your internal inbox and sent as an email as well.

Push Notifications

  • Set up in the Account page on each device.

  • If you have to enable push notifications in each browser and device. /

Daily Dashboard

  • Sends you a message every morning with a link to yesterday's performance.

  • Currently, the link is to the Scheduled Checklist Report, in a future release that link will be to the Checklists Dashboard.

  • Email-only, email must be enabled on your User Account. Click here to learn more.

  • This may change in near future.

Weekly Dashboard

  • Sends you a message every Monday morning with a link to last week's performance.

  • Currently, the link is to the Scheduled Checklist Report, in a future release that link will be to the Checklists Dashboard.

  • You have to check this box on the user account.

  • This may change in near future.

Critical Notifications

  • Sends you a consolidated notification when a checklist is submitted.

  • Crtical notifications are set by applying a Critical Tag to a Question and having an Unsatsifactory tag applied to that question's response.

  • The combo of the tags that make a critical violation and the critical notification is fired off when the checklist is submitted.

  • Configured on the checklist with a user filter.

  • Users are tagged appropriately and they become results in the User Filter.

Late Notifications

  • Late notifications get sent off when the schedule hits the two time and the checklist hasn't been submitted.

  • There is one late notification for each checklist schedule instance.

  • Configured on the checklist with a user filter.

  • Users are tagged appropriately and they become results in the User Filter.

Completed Notifications

  • Complete notifications get sent off when a checklist is submitted.

  • Configured on the checklist with a user filter.

  • Users are tagged appropriately and they become results in the User Filter.

Start Notifications

  • Start notifications get sent off when a checklist is ready to be worked.

Task Notifications

  • As tasks are worked, Notifications are sent out to the Task Creator keeping them informed about the task's progress.

  • This is automatic, no configuration is necessary.

Completed Checklist Notifications

  • If an end-user updates a comment on a Completed Checklist report, a notification is sent to the person who submitted the checklist.

  • This is automatic, no configuration is necessary.
