Our date Filter has two main parts: Relative and Absolute date ranges.
Relative Date Ranges are not specific dates they are time frames.
Absolute Date Ranges are specific dates.
Relative Dates:
Quick Select: allows you to put in a number of Days, Weeks, Months or Years.
Commonly Used: Allows you to click on the option to select that many days.
The benefit of using relative Date Ranges in your filters, is that it keeps Saved Filters more relevant and easier to use.
Absolute Dates:
Absolute dates are defined date ranges.
Something that is new to this date filter is that the date on the right, the To Date, is now inclusive. If you select the 22nd you will get date through the 22nd.
You don't have to define both ranges. If you only define the From date, left calendar, then it will be everything from the date you pick into the future and vice versa if you only pick a date on the right calendar.
