Completed Checklists is the Digital Filing Cabinet of the app. Every completed checklist can be accessed from this page in the app.

This Completed Checklists data grid functions slightly differently than the other data grid reports in the system. Each row represents a completed checklist and when you click the row, it opens the Completed Checklist view.

For those of you who operate in a multi-org structure. If you are in the parent organization and you have access to all locations, you will see the completed checklists of your child orgs as long as the checklist was created in the parent org and inherited down to the children.

Let's review the data in the data grid:

Attribute

Explanation

Checklist

  • The name of the checklist

Location

  • The location where the checklist was completed.

Created by

  • The user whom completed the checklist

Duration

  • Duration is a measure of the time it took for the person to answer the first question to the last question in the checklist.

  • Duration has nothing to do with the Finish time.

  • YOU SHOULD NOT SHARE WITH END USERS HOW THE DURATION IS CALCULATED. THEY CAN MESS WITH THE DURATIONS TO MAKE THEIR CHECKLISTS LOOK MORE ACCURATE THAN THEY ARE.

Finish

  • This is the time the checklist was submitted in the user's time zone.

  • This is the time the user pushed done on the checklist.

Score

  • The score is calculated by summing the points earned on the questions answered divided by the sum of the possible scores of the questions answered.

  • This is a straight percentage.

  • If you don't want the end user to skip questions, you can put the required rules on the questions.

  • In our opinion, the score should not be a KPI that you use to measure the checklist performance of end users when they are completing the checklists.

    • End users are 100% in control of what score they get.

    • You should be measuring checklist schedule compliance, duration, and how users handle issues instead of scoring.

Schedule Status

  • The Schedule Status column will display the schedule status of the completed checklist.

  • Since the Completed Checklists view only shows completed checklists, the schedule status will always be one of three options:

    • On-Time: checklist submitted on time.

    • Late: the checklist was submitted late.

    • Blank: meaning the checklist was submitted not on any schedule.

  • You can never have a missed status because a missed checklist was never completed.
