As we have gone through this code refactoring process, I want to clarify a couple of things that work differently.

Explanations on how the platform works:

  • If you open a checklist from the checklist list and submit it during a schedule period, even if you don't associate the checklist to the schedule on submit, the system will do that for you.

  • Rules are run on questions that are not visible.

  • If you get this error saving a checklist:

    • You may have a Multiple Choice Question, could be active or inactive, that doesn't have a label or a value.

    • Click on Show All and go through your checklist looking for missing Possible Scores and Missing Values on Multiple Choice Options.

    • You don't have to do this if the option is checked User Editable. The end user will be required to submit the value when they answer the question.

  • Checklist Scheduler Update

  • We have made a change to the Checklist Scheduler.

  • If we are doing scheduled maintenance on the platform, or if the scheduler fails and schedules are not getting created.

  • When the scheduler resumes, it will go back and create all of the missed schedules.

    • Ex: If the scheduler stopped making schedules at 6am. We turn it back on at 10:00 am. It will go and create all the schedules starting at 6am.

  • Why is this important?

    • This is different then how it functions today.

    • If we are in a maintenance Window, the platform is off, your teams are accessing the platform in Offline Mode. They need to do their checklists off the checklist list and when we resume normal operation those checklists will sync and be assigned to their proper schedules.

    • If schedules aren't being created and the platform is online, you need to instruct your teams to fill out the checklists off the checklist list.

    • We will associate those checklists to their schedules within 1 business day.

    • The rule is this, if you don't have access to schedules, just complete your checklists off of the Checklist List. They will be associated to your schedules later.

Bug Fixes:

  • We fixed a bug in the OpsLogic Rule Builder, the rule builder wasn't showing rule errors properly.
