Gate.io is a global cryptocurrency exchange that offers services to users across over 200 countries. One of the key functionalities of the platform is the ability to bridge assets, such as $OPUL, between blockchain networks. This guide explains who can use Gate.io to bridge $OPUL from the Algorand network to the Arbitrum network, along with important information on restricted regions where Gate.io’s services are limited or unavailable.
Generate Algorand OPUL Deposit Address
On www.gate.io/myaccount/myfunds/spot, select OPUL from the search box above all of your current assets, and choose the ‘Deposit’ option on the right hand side, select the on-chain deposit option, ensuring to select Algorand/ALGO as the network. From here you can copy the OPUL deposit address and head over to the Pera Wallet app on your mobile device.

Once you’re in your Pera Wallet on your mobile device, select the wallet you want to deposit OPUL from in your list of accounts, select Opulous from your asset list and select the send button, enter the amount of OPUL you want to deposit onto Gate.io and paste in the deposit address generated in the last step and press next. All you need to do now is confirm the transfer and you can head back over to Gate.io.
Withdraw OPUL to Arbitrum Wallet
Next, open up your Arbitrum Wallet of choice, ensuring you are on the Arbitrum network and copy your Arbitrum Wallet ID, then head back over to www.gate.io/myaccount/myfunds/spot and select OPUL from your list of coins, then select the withdraw option on the right hand side. Ensuring withdrawal to on-chain is selected paste in your Arbitrum Wallet ID and select Arbitrum as the network, enter the total amount of OPUL you wish to withdraw and select withdrawal. You’ll need to confirm the transactions and verify you’re the account holder by entering the verification code via sms and email. Once that’s complete you will see the OPUL appear in your Arbitrum wallet.

Restricted Countries
Gate.io imposes restrictions on users from several countries and regions due to regulatory constraints. If you are located in one of the following restricted areas, you will not be able to access Gate.io’s services, including the ability to bridge $OPUL or other assets:
United States (including Washington and New York), Mainland China, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Singapore, Hong Kong, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, Pakistan, and Crimea Region.
If you are located in any of these restricted regions, you will need to messina.one/bridge in order to bridge $OPUL between Algorand and Arbitrum. You can find the guide on how to do that here
