Migrating Tickets
To migrate Opulous Tickets from Algorand to Arbitrum let’s first explain the relevance of doing so.
Opulous migrated its ecosystem from Algorand to Arbitrum as the ERC-20 based Layer 2 blockchain aligned more with the long term goals for scalability.
Opulous Tickets were launched as an on-chain token to ensure clearer transparency and trust with the user base. Tickets on Algorand are not blockchain based tokens and by migrating your Tickets to Arbitrum they become Opulous Tickets (OPT) and can be used throughout the entirety of the Opulous ecosystem.

Supported Wallets

Migrating to Arbitrum
The images displayed in this article are produced while bridging tickets from Algorand to Arbitrum and using Pera Wallet and MetaMask as the wallet applications.
IMPORTANT
Ensure the wallet ID you input is your Arbitrum OPUL address. Tokens sent to the wring chain ID within the same wallet may be lost forever.
Ensure you have ETH on Arbitrum in your wallet for gas and not on Ethereum or another layer 2.
If you have ETH on Ethereum or another layer 2 network, you can switch this on Meta Mask, Coinbase Wallet and have it ready in your wallet to pay any necessary gas fees.
Step One: Connect Wallets
On the Opulous Ticket migration page: app.opulous.org/migration, you must connect your Algorand Wallet and your Arbitrum Wallet.
Once done so, any tickets available to transfer will appear automatically.
Step 2: Confirm Migration Amount
With your wallets connected, check the migration amounts, you will see that the amount of tickets you migrate from Algorand to Arbitrum is based on the price of OPUL at the time of transfer.
Step 3: Select ‘migrate tickets’.
When you’re happy with the transfer amount go ahead and select ‘Migrate Tickets’. The tickets will then be automatically added to your Metamask wallet.
Troubleshooting
If your tickets do not immediately appear in your wallet then you may need to import Opulous Tickets as a custom token. You can read the full guide on how to do so here.
Alternatively, you can check your current holdings on www.arbiscan.io by poasting your Arbitrum Wallet ID in the search bar and looking under ‘Token Holdings’
