How To Set up Pera Wallet

Before you can buy OPUL, you'll need to ensure you have a Pera Wallet to store your OPUL. You can set up a Pera Wallet by following the steps below.

STEP 1: Go to either the App Store or the Play Store, depending on your device, find Pera Wallet, and download the mobile app.

STEP 2: Select Create a new wallet and follow the on-screen instructions, don't forget to save your recovery phrase somewhere you won't lose it.

STEP 3: Finally, name your account. We recommend naming it something relevant to what you'll be using it for, ie, 'OPUL Wallet'

Now that you have set up your Pera Wallet, you can purchase ALGO, which you'll use to swap for OPUL inside the Pera Wallet app.

How To Buy ALGO

Thanks to our partner Pera Wallet, adding ALGO to your wallet has never been easier. You can do it using your Credit and Debit card. You can just read on to find out how.

STEP 1: On the main screen of your Pera Wallet, find the button that says 'Buy/Sell' on the left side underneath your account balance.

STEP 2: Select 'Buy ALGO with Moonpay' and follow the instructions on-screen. Make sure you select your new wallet from the list of wallets available.

STEP 3: Once you've selected your account, you'll be prompted to select your purchase amount. The minimum amount varies from country to country but in the UK; the minimum is £30. Type in the amount you want to purchase and the country you're in, and press continue.

STEP 4: Confirm your payment method, and you're done!

Now you have ALGO in your wallet, we get to the good bit, adding OPUL to your wallet by swapping ALGO, all done within Pera Wallet.

How To Swap ALGO for OPUL

Swapping ALGO for OPUL is smooth and easy, done in just a few taps. Use the steps below to find out how easy it is!

STEP 1: Make sure you've opted into OPUL. If you haven't done so already, then check out the 'How To Opt-in To Music Rewards' article and scroll down until you find 'How To Opt-in For OPUL'

STEP 2: Now you've opted into OPUL. On the main screen of your Pera Wallet, where you'll see your total account balance in ALGO, tap the 'Swap' button just next to the 'Buy/Sell' button.

STEP 3: Select the official OPUL as the second asset, shown by the blue check mark, and press continue to set the transfer percentage. You'll need to leave some ALGO for transaction fees, so please keep that in mind.

STEP 4: Finally, follow the onscreen instructions, and you'll be an official OPUL holder!
