What is Staking?
To learn how to stake OPUL on our platform, it's essential to understand the concept of staking a crypto token.
Staking involves placing crypto, such as OPUL tokens, into a unique digital wallet on a platform. This process locks your tokens, and you receive rewards over time.
During the staking period, your tokens remain locked and inaccessible. However, once the staking duration concludes, you regain access to your tokens and can choose to unstake them.
What crypto wallets are supported?
Mobile Metamask Users
We’ve identified some integration limitations with Metamask when accessing the Opulous platform through common mobile browsers. If you are using Metamask on a mobile device, please note that you must access the platform using the official Metamask browser. To streamline your experience, we will automatically redirect you to the Metamask browser when you connect using Metamask on mobile devices. This ensures that your ability to interact with the platform remains seamless.
To stake OPUL on the Arbitrum platform, you must hold OPUL in one of the following wallets.
EVM Compatible Wallet: MetaMask, Coinbase, WalletConnect, Trust Wallet, OKX
Wallets can be downloaded to your mobile and used as a mobile application, or if you prefer desktop, some also feature browser extensions or browser wallet integration.
For more information about each respective wallet, click the links above.
One wallet is not necessarily better than the other; it depends on personal preferences and circumstances. We recommend using your wallet details responsibly and staying vigilant throughout your actions. Cold wallet protection, such as a Ledger or Trezor, is always advised for added layers of security.

Why Stake OPUL on Arbitrum?
Staking OPUL offers a range of benefits with unique features, including competitive APY rates and Opulous Tickets.
Earn APY
When you lock up your OPUL for a certain period, you earn a reward called APY (Annual Percentage Yield). This reward changes based on how long you decide to lock up your OPUL.
For example, if you choose a short period of 15 days, you will get 1%. But if you decide to lock it up for a longer time, like a full year (365 days), you get a higher reward of 10%.
The longer you lock your OPUL, the higher your reward will be, following a straight-line increase from 1% to 10% as you move from 15 days to 365 days.
You can choose any lockup period between 15 and 365 days, and the system will automatically calculate your reward.
Receive Opulous Tickets
Additionally, stakers receive Opulous Tickets, crucial for participation in the Opulous Ecosystem. These tickets unlock various features, including the ability to apply for:
Free MFT Airdrops
MFT Pre-Sale Access
Priority Access to OVAULT rewards
Priority Access to Opulous AI
For those curious about how the total number of tickets is calculated, refer to the formula below:
Tickets Calculation = Staked OPUL * Lockup Period * OPUL Price / 10

If you’re new and need to learn more about wallets, please check this article.
STEP 2: Start Staking
IMPORTANT: To participate in staking, you must hold OPUL (Arbitrum) and Ethereum (Arbitrum) in your EVM wallet.
If you have yet to add OPUL (Arbitrum) to your EVM wallet, you can bridge your OPUL (Algorand) by following the steps here.
You will need Ethereum in your Arbitrum wallet to cover gas fees; learn more here.
You're ready to go if you already have OPUL and ETH (Arbitrum) in your wallet!
To get started, check the top of the interface. There, you will see your connected wallets, OPUL balance, the total OPUL staked, and the total tickets.
You must enter the total amount of OPUL and the time you will commit to it to continue. Remember, once your tokens are locked in the staking pool, you cannot access them until the staking period is over.
Once you’ve decided on the total staking time and amount, you can see the number of tickets you will receive and the estimated APY.
STEP 3: Confirm Stake
When you're happy with your selection, press ‘stake’ and continue to sign the transactions triggered in your selected connecting wallet.
Once the transactions are finalized, your OPUL will be staked, and all tickets will be transferred to your wallet.
If the tickets are not immediately viewable in your wallet, you must import them manually by importing a custom token to ensure they are displayed correctly.
The token address for Opulous Tickets is 0xE6F86a1ECEC5a59231e0b880FD3dBf01eb81D62F .

Claiming Rewards
Your rewards compound daily until the locking period ends. Due to the immutable nature of blockchain data, you can only withdraw your tokens after this period. It's crucial to factor this into your staking period's total length.
Once the staking period concludes, you can withdraw your tokens and the accrued compounded interest..
How To Extend Your Lock-Up
Extending your lockup will boost your Annual Percentage Yield (APY), immediately earning you additional rewards and tickets and enhancing your opportunities to participate in our ecosystem.
You can extend your Lock-Up at any time by following the steps below.
STEP 1: Extend Lock-Up
Once you’ve connected your wallet, select the ‘My Stakes’ tab at the top of the Tickets page on the Opulous platform. This will take you to your current active stakes, and you can now choose which stakes you want to extend.
Select ‘Extend Lock-Up’ on the stake you want to extend to continue the process.
STEP 2: Confirm Extended Lock-Up
The extended Lockup pop-up will now appear on the screen, as shown below. In the Extend by bar, you can input the days you want to extend your stake. Below, you can see the total number of new lock-up days, the new APY, and the total number of new tickets you will receive.
Once you're happy, select confirm, and then continue to sign the transactions in your wallet chosen to confirm.
