If your iPhone isn’t connecting to the internet with your ORA eSIM, follow these steps in order to troubleshoot:
1. Verify Your ORA Plan Is Active ✅
Open your ORA Dashboard and follow How to Activate Your ORA eSIM to confirm the plan is installed and ready.
Make sure you tapped the QR code, installed the profile, and see the plan listed under Settings → Cellular.
2. Disconnect from Wi-Fi 📡
3. Ensure the ORA eSIM Is Enabled & Preferred 🔄
Go to Settings.
Select Mobile Service (it may be labeled Cellular on some iPhones).
Tap the Installed ORA eSIM Profile (by provider name, e.g., “3HK eSIM” or “Ubigi Global eSIM”).
Check “Turn On This Line”, make sure it is toggled On.
Go Back to the Mobile Service (or Cellular) main menu.
Tap Mobile Data (or Cellular Data).
Select Your ORA eSIM Profile again to ensure it’s chosen for data (in this case Business)
4. Check Data Roaming Is Enabled 🌍
Open Settings.
Tap Cellular (or Mobile Service on some iPhones).
Select Your ORA eSIM Profile (e.g., “3HK eSIM” or “Ubigi Global eSIM”).
Toggle Data Roaming On (green).
5. Reboot Your iPhone 🔄
Press and hold the volume down button + side button until the power-off slider appears:
Drag the Slider to turn off your iPhone.
Press & Hold the Side Button again until you see the Apple logo—this clears minor glitches.
6. Disable 5G and Force LTE/4G 📡
Go to Settings
Cellular (or Mobile Service).
Tap Your ORA eSIM Profile (in this case eSimCard):
Tap Voice & Data.
Select LTE (or 4G/3G)—uncheck 5G to force a more stable connection.
7. Toggle Airplane Mode ✈️
Open Settings.
Turn Airplane Mode On.
Wait 15 Seconds.
Turn Airplane Mode Off—this forces your iPhone to reconnect to available networks.
8. Configure APN (Access Point Name) Settings ⚙️
Open Settings
Cellular (or Mobile Service)
Tap Your ORA eSIM Profile (in this case eSimCard):
Tap Cellular Data Network (or Mobile Data Network).
In the APN Field, enter the APN value listed under your plan’s Technical Specifications.
Leave Username & Password Blank (unless specified).
Go Back and test mobile data again.
