With Orbital Witness, you can directly export title register entries into a Certificate of Title template (The City of London Law Society Land Law Committee Certificate of Title - 8th Edition).
This report is perfect for expediting the reporting process, by partially populating certain sections of the CLLS COT. All populated information is highlighted for ease of review and is fully editable.
This version of the report only includes information derived from the title register at HM Land Registry for the title(s) selected by you. It doesn't consider underlying documents filed against the title(s) or other information relevant to lawyer due diligence which is, or may, be required to complete the CLLS (although this is just the beginning so watch this space 👀).
How do I create and export a Certificate of Title Report?
Click on the Exports icon in the left-hand taskbar. This will take you to the reporting dashboard where you can choose your preferred report.
Press 'Select' on the Certificate of Title report
Select the specific titles you would like to be included in the report in the subsequent title panel that appears, you will have the option to select all
Click 'Export', and wait for your report to download
Preview your report
To ensure that the report you are selecting is the correct format for the job you need, you can use our Preview tool. By clicking on the Download Preview option at the bottom of the Certificate of Title report tile. This allows you to preview the format of the report, before exporting your titles
