Sometimes you need to additional detail to your plan that is not covered by just title boundaries. You may need to show unregistered land, access points, transfer of parts or more. Our Sketches feature can help you add this detail to your plan and make it more detailed.

How to access sketches?
You can access the sketches feature by clicking it on the navigation bar on the left hand of your screen, as shown below.
Note: You need to be in a matter to access sketches.
What tools do I have to create sketches?
When you enter the sketches screen, you will have 4 tools you can use to create Sketches, as shown below.
These are:
Area: Draw custom shapes by placing points on the map. Perfect for when you want to depict an area of land.
Lines: Place lines on the map to point out key issues or titles easily.
Text: Put text on the map, allowing you to explain the plan in greater detail.
Marker: Highlight key features of the plan with an a simple marker.
How do I create a sketch?
Once you have selected a tool from the options above, you can create a sketch by placing points on the map.
You can always receive guidance at the bottom of your action bar as shown highlighted in red here.
Below is an example of me creating an Area sketch.

How do I edit my sketch?
If you need to edit a sketch, first select it from the sketch list on the left of your screen. Once it is selected you can now drag any of the points on the sketch to edit it, as seen below.
Tip: You can drag any part of the sketch (not just the visible points) to edit it, the points are just a visual aid to help you edit successfully.
How can I rename or restyle my sketch?
If you need to rename or restyle your sketch, you can do this from the action bar within the sketch as shown below.
How can I create a more accurate sketch?
If you want to draw a more accurate sketch you can use our snapping feature, which allows your sketch to snap to key features on the map such as title boundaries.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Can I display multiple sketches at once?
Yes - you can create and display multiple sketches at once. If you ever need to make any of your sketches invisible, you can click the eye icon next to them
Will my sketches be visible on the map page?
Currently your sketches will show on the map page if you have loaded the sketches page first. We will soon be making them always visible in your map page as well as the sketches present alongside your titles in the list.
Can I export my sketches?
You can export your sketches by using the 'Download Snapshot' button in the bottom right of your screen. This will take sketches (and any titles visible) into a PNG or PDF format you can share with your client.
Will sketches be visible on Interactive Site Plans (ISPs)?
Currently sketches will not be visible on ISP links accessed by your client but changes are coming to this soon that will enable them to be.
