On Ambient Mode, how do I know if an article on a website is eligible for credit?

Quickly identify which articles qualify for credits while browsing on your browser or iOS app.

Browser extension

There are several ways to check this:

  • Option 1: When you’re on a page with an article that's eligible for credit, the Orbit CME icon on your browser will turn blue.

  • Option 2: Click on the Orbit extension icon to open a floating window. On the right side of the window, you should see a blue "Eligible" badge. This will turn into a green "Qualified" badge once ready to redeem.

  • Option 3: Click on the Orbit floating icon on the right side of your screen, beside the scrollbar. Look for the blue "Eligible" badge on the left side. This will turn into a green "Qualified" badge once your article is ready to redeem.

You can close this window by clicking on the x button on the top right so you can freely read the article or abstract.

When you’re on a page not eligible for credit, the Orbit CME icon on your browser remains grey.

iOS app

While searching for articles using the built-in browser, you should see an "Eligible" badge on the left side of the address bar at the top.

This will change to "Qualified" once the article is ready to redeem.
