Note

Before you do this, make sure you have:

  • An Orbit account with an active plan and available credits

  • Installed the Orbit iOS app

  • Logged into the app with your Orbit account

Watch the video above to get a quick overview on how to install the Orbit CME app for iOS and use it to earn your CME credits.

1. Search for any topic from the Explore tab in the Orbit CME app.

For example, when you open the Orbit CME app, you'll see PubMed as the default homepage. Click on the PubMed search bar and enter any specific phrase that relates to your practice. For example, try "AI anesthesiology". Sort by most recent first, and filter by abstract. Click on any abstract.

2. Read abstracts and articles as usual.

Orbit works in the background to capture relevant information and check if they are eligible for credit. You'll see a badge in the top left go from "Eligible" to "Qualified" when your reading has been registered to your account.

3. Click on the History logo to see your focused browsing history.

This is optional, but a helpful way to see what articles you've visited. Non-medical articles are excluded.

4. Pull to refresh on your Earn tab to check for detected articles.

If you’re checking the Earn tab immediately after reading, you might need to refresh to see all the latest articles you’ve read. Older detected articles are automatically delivered to your Earn tab.

Click on the Redeem button and follow the prompts to redeem an article for credit.
