Start with your clinical question. Orbit’s activity is Internet Search and Learn on a Curated Database. Articles are accessed through learner-initiated questions: identify a question from your practice, search the curated database, and choose an eligible article that addresses your question. Orbit does not provide article recommendations or feeds.
Note
Before you do this, make sure you have:
An Orbit account with an active plan and available credits
Installed the Orbit iOS app
Logged into the app with your Orbit account
1. Start with your own clinical question and search from the Explore tab in the Orbit CME app.
Search the curated database for eligible full-text articles that address your question from clinical practice.
2. Read an eligible article that addresses your question.
Orbit checks eligibility and records the article visit from your learner-initiated search. In the iOS app, the badge changes from “Eligible” to “Qualified” when the visit is registered. Complete the evaluation and redemption prompts to claim credit; browsing history alone does not award credit.
3. Click on the History logo to see your focused browsing history.
This is optional, but a helpful way to see what articles you've visited. Non-medical articles are excluded.
4. Pull to refresh on your Earn tab to check for detected articles.
If you’re checking the Earn tab immediately after reading, you might need to refresh to see all the latest articles you’ve read. The Earn tab lists your previous eligible article visits from learner-initiated searches; it is not an article feed.
Click on the Redeem button and follow the prompts to redeem an article for credit.
