There is a common misconception that the New Zealand Companies Office can act as your share register. In reality, the New Zealand Companies Office serves as the place for you to report what is contained on your share register. The New Zealand Companies Office includes a subset of company information that all companies are required to update. However, the New Zealand Companies Office is not a company’s share registry.

Companies often forget to update the New Zealand Companies Office once they have made changes to their registry. Orchestra will allow your records to be automatically updated in the New Zealand Companies Office when you make a change in the Orchestra platform, saving you time and money.
