Where do I find my share purchase loan details?

To view your loan details please log in to your account. Choose the company you have a shareholding in to access your Dashboard.

From your Dashboard click on β€˜Share loans’ in your left side menu. Your loans page will show a list of your loans.

Click the 'View details' button to see more information about your loan such as:

  • dividend split %

  • transaction history (money in and money out)

  • interest rate changes

  • supporting documents

Loans terminology:

  • Balance - the amount outstanding on your loan.

  • Interest rate - the rate at which the loan balance is attracting interest (compounding daily or monthly).

  • Accrual frequency - how often the accrued interest is added to your loan balance.

  • Original loan amount - the initial amount loaned to buy the shares.

  • Number of shares - the number of shares being purchased.

  • Original share price - the price per share when the loan started.

  • Dividend split - for any dividend paid by the company on shares that have a loan attached, it is the percentage of the dividend applied to pay down the loan and the percentage of the dividend paid out in cash.

  • Money out - money loaned to the loan holder, plus interest.

  • Money in - money paid back on the loan.
