Overview
Order Merger analyzes your recent orders and identifies customers who have multiple orders going to the same shipping address. For each group of mergeable orders, you'll see:
Customer name and shipping address
Number of orders that can be merged
Potential shipping savings
Order details including totals, shipping costs, and fulfillment status
Viewing Merge Suggestions
Suggestion Cards
Each suggestion shows a customer with multiple mergeable orders:
Customer name - The customer who placed the orders
Order count - Badge showing how many orders can be merged (e.g., "3 orders")
Shipping address - The common shipping destination
Potential savings - Estimated shipping cost savings if orders are merged
Click Show details to expand a suggestion and see the individual orders.
Total Potential Savings
At the top of the suggestions list, you'll see the total potential savings across all customers. This is the combined shipping savings if all suggested merges were completed.
Note: Potential savings are calculated based on your current merge settings. Actual savings may vary depending on which orders you select.
How Savings Are Calculated
Potential savings are based on shipping costs:
Total shipping = Sum of all shipping costs from selected orders
Kept shipping = Highest shipping cost among selected orders (this is kept in the merged order)
Savings = Total shipping - Kept shipping
Example:
Order A: $8.95 shipping
Order B: $12.95 shipping
Order C: $6.95 shipping
Total: $28.85
Kept (highest): $12.95
Savings: $15.90

How Automatic Bulk Merge Works
When the scheduled time arrives:
System retrieves all current merge suggestions based on your settings
Each suggestion is processed and merged automatically
Your Automatic Merge settings are used for conflict handling and order actions
Original orders are automatically archived to prevent duplicate merges
Process continues until all suggestions are merged
Important: To prevent the same orders from being merged multiple times, the system automatically archives original orders after merging when using automatic bulk merge. This happens regardless of your archive settings.
Disabling Automatic Bulk Merge
Click Turn Off to disable automatic bulk merge. The scheduled job will be cancelled and no automatic merges will occur.
No Suggestions Available
If you see "No merge suggestions available", it could be because:
All recent orders have different shipping addresses
Orders don't meet your filter criteria
There are no unfulfilled orders in your specified time range
Customers only have single orders
Try:
Expanding your time range
Removing or adjusting filter conditions
Checking that you have unfulfilled orders
