For electricity or natural gas bills
If your bill is due soon or is overdue by less than two weeks, you can self-serve your payment extension.
In the billing section of your account click on ‘View your options’.
Click on 'Request payment extension'.

What to do if there's no link to request an extension
There's a number of reasons why you may not see the Request an extension link on your dashboard; for example, your latest bill may be overdue by more than two weeks or you're on a payment plan.
If you need an extension and you can't self-serve, contact us through My Account or via the Origin app and we’ll work out what to do. Or see all the ways to contact us.
